My baby boy turned 1 last week! I can't believe it, but I finally came to terms with the fact that it was happening and I need to celebrate the blessing! So, we celebrated all week!
He amazes us each day! He is the complete opposite of Carson! It's so wild how two little brothers can be so different! How great! He has done things so much differently than Carson.
-Silas sat up and crawled at six months while Carson was much later. Silas has to keep up with Hannah and Carson! He can't be left behind! He is a speedy crawler and can get up both set of our big stairs in no time at all!
-He is so tiny to us! (compared to Carson!) Silas weighed 20lb 5oz at his twelve month appointment (25%) where Carson was always in the 95%
-They are shaped so different! I know that sounds funny, but its so neat to see how God molds each and every body differently!
-Silas is so much more mischievous! It's so funny how he is always trying to get in the potty or see how fast he can empty the pots and pans cabinet. Carson was always just content staying in one place playing with his toys!
-Silas has been a bit pickier of an eater. He is definitely doing better, but it's a struggle daily because one day he will love something and a few days later he wants nothing to do with it. (ex. strawberries this week) He has also gotten teeth at a different rate. He got six all at once and has been there for a while. 2 more on the bottom are popping through now though (making his total 8)
-Silas has so little hair! It is finally starting to come in, but it's so wild to think how much Carson had at this age! Carson had already had two haircuts!
We longed for you so badly Silas and I'm so proud to be your mama. You make me laugh all the time with your cute little looks and how you can't let me sit still for a moment while you are awake!
Some other stats:
Sleeping from about 630pm to 630am with 2 naps from about 930-1130 and 130 to 330.
He is drinking 2% milk now in sippie cups only
favorite foods are graham crackers, peanut butter ritz bitz and fig newtons
clothes size: mostly 12mo. some 12-18
shoe size: 5 or 5.5
