We love weekends!

This weekend was so nice (once we got past Friday's gross weather)! Staying inside for most of the day really makes it drag on so slow! Especially with Andrew being gone all day. He is so busy now since it is getting 'close' to the end of the semester. He is spending many days at middle/high schools from 8-3 then comes home to catch a quick nap before going to class or work for the rest of the night. Needless to say by the time he gets home, I'm already passed out or goes to sleep before I can say hello!


So when the weekends come, we are so excited for some family time!! This weekend we (Lexi included) just strolled around downtown Homewood, ate, and enjoyed each others company and the pleasant day! (This is a usual Saturday routine!)


On Sunday, after Andrew gets home from work (around 2am), we get up and go to early church at 8 and come home and take a nice long nap! This series at church has just been so great! It has been a question and answer series that has been wonderful. Then we went to one of my cousins house in Birmingham for my Grandad's Birthday! It was such a beautiful day and Carson really enjoyed playing with his cousins. He enjoyed it so much, when we got home he went down for a nap about 3:30pm and was still asleep when Andrew got home from work about 1AM! So we decided to go ahead and wake him, feed him, and bath him so he wouldn't wake up at about 4 starving!! We put him back to bed and about 15 minutes later heard him just singing and talking in his bed. He is so funny! He will just stay in there and play even if he isn't tired yet!


Now back to chaos until Saturday! It will be a good, busy week though!
